Green Party candidates from across Vancouver Island are converging in Nanaimo this weekend.
Leader Elizabeth May says the party is hosting a rally and picnic on Sunday.
May is speaking at the BC Green’s AGM Saturday, and then she’ll be at Maffeo Sutton Park Sunday.
She’ll be joined by Nanaimo-Ladysmith candidate Paul Manly and Cowichan-Malahat-Langford candidate Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi, among others.
There will be live music, arts & crafts, yoga, food vendors, and lots of family-friendly activities. The event runs from 2-4pm.
