A local area plan for Crofton is inching closer to becoming a reality.
North Cowichan Council recently approved the first reading of a bylaw that would finalize a plan that has been in the works for years.
Mayor Jon Lefebure says the OCP is a product of many meetings and public consultations…which are key to finding answers to some tough questions.
Lefebure says improving Crofton’s sustainability will help bring back essential services such as banks and doctors…which haven’t existed for some time now.
