A pre-election poll commissioned by One Cowichan and the Dogwood Initiative shows the NDP doing well in the new riding of Cowichan Malahat Langford.
It’s one of two ridings being created by the break-up of Nanaimo Cowichan.
The poll puts NDP support at 32 per cent, with the conservatives at 22, the Liberals at 12 and the Greens at 8. Â
22 per cent were undecided.
Matt Price of One Cowichan says the age break down is also interesting.
The survey didn’t look at the other new riding for the area; Nanaimo – Ladysmith.
The Insights West poll has a fairly large margin of error:Â plus or minus 5.6 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
