RCMP: Two face charges after stolen VIU items found in Cedar home

Two people are facing charges after Nanaimo RCMP searched a home in Cedar on Tuesday night.

Constable Gary O’Brien says they found many items stolen last week from VIU’s Nanaimo campus.

O’Brien says they also recovered firearms and hundreds of keys, likely stolen during other break and enters in Nanaimo.

A 31-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman are facing numerous charges and are due in court today.
