Gap in local hospice services, other topics to be discussed at AGM

The executive director of the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society says there is a gap in local services that has to be resolved.

Gretchen Hartley says there isn’t any residential services for people that can’t be cared for at home but don’t need hospital care just yet.

She says that issue, as well as others, will be addressed on Thursday night in Duncan at the Society’s AGM.

Hartley says information presented at the meeting, which is at 7 PM at St John’s Anglican Church,  is based on the findings of numerous public consultations.
