North Cowichan Council wants to hear from public about University Village Local Area Plan

People will have a chance to give North Cowichan Council feedback about the University Village Local Area Plan.

Council wants to hearĀ from theĀ public on Thursday from 4-7pm at Alexander Elementary School…afterĀ going through theĀ first reading of the plan earlier in June.

Mayor Jon Lefebure says the biggest proposedĀ change to the plan since last year’s open house is the urban containment boundary.

The plan is a result of years of work and public consultation. It will provide people with a guideline on how the area will be developed over the next three decades.
