Labour dispute at Duncan senior care facility heads to arbitration

A labour dispute at Duncan’s Sunridge Place could be resolved through arbitration.

The Hospital Employees Union, which represents 200 care and support workers at the senior care facility, and employer CareCorp have avoided a work stoppage.

The Union’s Mike Old says he hopes mediation and binding arbitration help secure a collective agreement that addresses several problems.
