Parksville man identified as victim of motorcycle crash north of Ladysmith

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man
who died after a motorcycle crash north of Ladysmith on June 30.

He was 61-year-old Colin Thomas Campbell from Parksville.

He was driving a motorcycle heading south on the Trans-Canada Highway when he collided with a vehicle stopped at the intersection with Oyster Sto’Lo Road.

Campbell was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on July 4.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services are still investigating.
