Linden: Fans thrilled to see young Canucks play in Shawnigan Lake

The president of the Vancouver Canucks says the team’s Prospects Development Camp was a success in the Cowichan Valley.

Trevor Linden, who is also fourth on the team’s career scoring list, spoke to Juice FM on Wednesday morning at Shawngian Lake School, the site of the year’s camp.

He says it was great to see plenty of fans show up that may not have a chance to see the Canucks play.

The Canucks top two selections in last year’s draft, 6th overall pick Jake Virtanen and 24th overall pick Jared McCann, were among the players taking part in the camp.
