Forrest Field upgrades complete and open for use

The practice pitch at Forrest Field is officially open for use according to the Town of Ladysmith.  
 
Other upgrades to the field include an accessible walking loop and improvements to the parking lot on 4th Ave. 
 
Money for the upgrades came from the $350,000 Canada Community Building Fund.
 
The grand opening for the field will happen in the spring of next year following the installation of fitness equipment.
