Search for permanent science centre location in Nanaimo continues

The Nanaimo Science and Sustainability Society is on the hunt for the perfect location to establish a permanent science centre.

Executive Director Erin McClelland says that’s their ultimate goal.

McClelland says they’re making slow but steady progress, working with the City and the Nanaimo Ladysmith School District.

For now, she says they have a science studio set up at Departure Bay Elementary and they’ll be there for the next school year for sure.
