RCMP say a body has been found near Norway Island.
A group of kayakers came across the body Wednesday evening.
Norway Island is near Penelakut Island, but RCMP are not making any direct connection with the case of a missing 19 year old woman.
They say a forensics team from Nanaimo RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are still working to identify the remains.
RCMP are, however, saying investigators have been in contact with the family of Delores Brown to let them know about the discovery.
Brown has not been seen since July 27th. Yesterday police confirmed they believe foul play is involved in her disappearance.
