Unknown issues close Meade Creek Recycling Centre, CVRD

If you use the Meade Creek Recycling Centre, then you will have to divert to another facility on Saturday.

According to the CVRD, unforeseen circumstances have forced the closure of the facility and residents are being encouraged to bring their materials to the Bings Creek Centre at 3900 Drinkwater Road from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The district says the centre will reopen on Sunday but has not specified what caused the shutdown.
