City of Duncan looks for input to improve McAdam Park

Creating a new public park is hard work and the City of Duncan wants your input on how to proceed with a new area to support all ages.

According to the city’s website, they’re looking to create a space that can meet the needs and desires of the community.

City staff say the engagement process is intended to create an inclusive and accessible play space where every child can play, learn and grow in a safe vibrant environment.

Several proposals have already been received and more are being accepted by completing both the small and large McAdam Park survey.

A similar process was done last fall, with Centennial Park after a playground was the target of arson last year which was investigated by North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.

The Centennial Park ground was built and finished ahead of spring equinox

For more information visit the city’s website.
