Human remains identified as those of missing 19 y/o Delores Brown

The BC Coroners Service has identified the human remains discovered near Norway Island as those of 19 year old Delores Brown from Penelakut Island.

The remains were discovered on August 19th.

Delores Brown was last seen on July 27th, and was reported missing  on July 29th.

RCMP and Search and Rescue crews conducted an exhaustive search for Brown, and last week RCMP confirmed they suspected foul play in her disappearance.
