The island rail corridor in the CVRD is just over 71 kilometers long and passes though Cowichan Tribes, Halalt First Nation and Stz’uminus First Nation land.

The survey goes live September 1st and there will be an open house hosted in Charles Hoey Park on September 14th.

After this initial planning process, a final report will be presented to the CVRD board in early 2025 with recommendations.
