Firefighters put out blaze at abandoned house in Glenora

The Duncan Fire Department got some help from Mother Nature thanks to a wet Wednesday morning.

The department says they got called to a fire at an abandoned house on Indian Road in Glenora but were able to put it out quickly.

Chief Mike McKinlay says the rain kept the fire from spreading to the brush.

McKinlay says the cause of the blaze will be hard to figure out because of the amount of damage.
