North Cowichan opens submissions for 2025 Sports Wall of Fame

North Cowichan is once again looking for submissions for their 2025 Sports Wall of Fame. 

If you know someone who has made a lasting contribution to sports in the Valley or has perhaps excelled in their sport, you can submit their name for consideration. 

“We encourage you to submit a nomination to help us recognize and celebrate their impact,” said North Cowichan Mayor Rob Douglas. 

2023 saw the addition of Ernie Mansueti, Helen Gosnell, Jason Sandquist, the 1959 Duncan Allstars baseball team and the 1983 Cowichan Thunderettes basketball team to the wall. 

Nominations are open until March 2nd, 2025, and a link to the nomination form can be found on the North Cowichan website.
