Food issues will be front & centre at all candidates meeting in Duncan

Local and national food issues will be front and centre at an all candidates meeting on Wednesday in Duncan.

Vanessa Goodall is with the Cowichan Green Community, the group coordinating the event.

She says the New Democrats, Greens, Liberals and Communist Party will speak at the forum.

The Conservatives will not be there.

Goodall says the Cowichan Green Community has already done a lot of research on food issues, and they’re encouraging people to check it out before the forum.

The meeting is at the Duncan United Church from 5 to 9pm.
