Tour de Rock set to go through Cowichan Valley

The Tour de Rock has turned south as the riders left Nanaimo on Monday afternoon.

Ian Wetzel Eden of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP says he’s looking forward to seeing family and supporters, and his junior riders.

Wetzel Eden also says there’s also a bit of different feel now that the Tour is in the home stretch.

There are lots of events planned in the Cowichan Valley on Tuesday including a community breakfast in Chemainus, a stop in Beverly Corners and the Red Serge Dinner at Mellor Hall in North Cowichan.
