BC Ferries is extending its off-peak fare discounts to include vehicles.

Like the earlier move on passenger fares, the company is offering a 50 per cent discount on certain sailings.

CEO Mike Corrigan says they want to see if reduced fares will encourage more people to choose off-peak sailings.

Corrigan says the reduced fares will be in place from mid-November until mid-December.
