The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit is releasing some more information about a murder on Salt Spring Island in the hope of getting fresh leads.
The body of Joseph Bernie was found in Fulford Creek on October 10th.
RCMP want to hear from people who know where Bernie was between October 4th and 6th.
They’re also asking anybody with information on activity or people around an abandoned white house near the old Fulford Inn between October 5th and 7th to come forward.
Finally, they’ve revealed two personal items belonging to Joseph are missing – a guitar and a Samsung Brand tablet.
Anyone with information can call Salt Spring RCMP at 250-537-5555, or offer a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
