Police want everybody in the Cowichan Valley to have a Happy, and safe, Halloween.
North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP Cpl. Krista Hobday says there are a couple of things that people should keep in mind on Saturday night.
Hobday says when it comes to treats, it’s a good idea to check them at the end of the night. She says there have been cases of drugs such as ecstasy, MDMA or crystal meth being mistaken for candy.
Hobday says police will also be on the lookout for impaired drivers.
