Vancouver Island’s biggest downhill ski resort has been sold.
Mount Washington is being taken over by a subsidiary of Pacific Group Resorts, of Utah.
Mount Washington’s Peter Gibson says the group recognizes the area’s potential.
Gibson says one of the things the new owners are looking to introduce on the mountain is snow-making.
He says they’ll be working out the details in the coming weeks.
