North Cowichan looking for public input to help improve parks, trails

North Cowichan is trying to come up with a plan to manage, develop and expand parks and trails.

The Municipality’s Brian Green says the Parks and Trails Master Plan will be based on input from locals, community groups and First Nations.

He says the goal is to create a better experience for people that went to check out parks and trails in the area.

Green says there will be open houses in the New Year to share some ideas. He says, for now, you can have your say on the project by heading to North Cowichan dot ca slash parkstrails.
