Popular local Christmas cookie drive returning in December

Caring with Cookies is a personal piece of love for people who have no people…a sentiment echoed by one Vancouver Island shelter when referring to a local Christmas cookie drive.

The Cowichan Valley’s Stacy Middlemiss started Caring with Cookies in 2008 and it’s been getting bigger ever since with almost six thousand last year.

She says she hopes to get plenty of cookies for the less fortunate when the drive starts up again in December.
