RCMP launch Counter Attack campaign to curb impaired driving

Police on Vancouver Island and in the province are cracking down on impaired driving this month with a Counter Attack campaign.

In the Duncan area, RCMP are teaming up with South Island Traffic Services and ICBC in an effort to prevent deaths on the roads this holiday season.

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP Cpl. Krista Hobday says things got going over the weekend.

Hobday says if you’re planning to drink then arrange for a DD beforehand, call a taxi or a sober friend, or take public transportation.
