Fisher Road Recycling public meeting tonight

The Fisher Road Recycling Facility is looking for approval to increase the capacity of the operation by more than 7 thousand tonnes.

The CVRD’s Director in the area Gerry Giles says a public information meeting will be held tonight (Mon) at the Cobble Hill Community Hall where people can learn more about the proposal…..

They’ve already been operating at the higher capacity for the past 6 months.

The operator of the facility is expected to be on hand along with their composting expert to present their plan to the public and answer any questions the public may have.

Written comments on the proposal will also be accepted by the CVRD until April 18th.
