Mt. Washington Alpine Resort opens with best conditions in three years

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is open.

Spokesperson Sheila Rivers says they have plenty of snow and opening conditions are the best they’ve been in three years.

She says all their runs opened on Friday, December 11th.

Mount Washington was purchased earlier this year by a subsidiary of Pacific Group Resorts, and while they don’t need it right now, they’ll be introducing snow making at the resort for the first time ever.
