Mounties make a deal with China

The Mounties say they have reached an agreement with China to try and halt the transpacific flow of fentanyl into Canada.

Earlier this week, Premier Christy Clark urged Ottawa to have some discussions with China to try to stem the flow of illicit drugs into Canada.

In the meantime, discussions continue around supervised safe injection sites throughout the province and such a site has not been ruled out for Nanaimo.

Premier Christy Clark says the sites are not the answer…..

She says the RCMP need more resources to put towards controlling illegal drugs and the Federal government also needs to ban pill presses.
