Three people were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a five-vehicle crash yesterday evening just north of Ladysmith — north bound on the highway.
Constable Barry Fulford — with the Ladysmith RCMP detachment –says the accident occured as a result of a chain reaction caused by one vehicle hitting a large bag of garbage by the side of the road.
We asked Fulford how many people were in the vehicles.
