The impact of taxes on local businesses was a hot topic at the recent BC Chamber of Commerce AGM.
The president of the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce, Julie Scurr, attended the meeting in Prince George.
Scurr says there were several policies discussed including increasing the provincial tax threshold, more transparency and keeping minimum wage increases tied to cost of living.
The information collected will be presented by the BC Chamber to the provincial government.
