The Coastal Fire Centre says it’s dealing with a new fire in the region.
The 2.5 hectare fire was spotted Sunday in the area of Copper Canyon Mainline, southwest of Chemainus River Provincial Park.
Meanwhile, the Fire Centre says it still considers the Skutz Falls fire “active” which means people could notice smoke or even flame as it burns within the containment lines.
