RV Fire in the Hutchinson Road area

An RV caught fire near the intersection of the Trans-Canada and Hutchinson Road yesterday afternoon and the Mill Bay Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze.

Three units from the Mill Bay Fire Department attended, along with the RCMP and BC Ambulance Service.

The fire spread to nearby grass before crews put it out for good.

No one was injured and traffic delays were minor.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
