What’s the Best Use for the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena?

Curling is as Canadian as maple syrup, but the future use of the Cowichan Lake SportsĀ Arena is up for discussion.
Consultations, open houses, stakeholder meetings, and questionnaires are all part of the process, whereby public input will go a long way to deciding whether curling continues to be played at the facility.
Manager of Cowichan Lake Recreation with the C.V.R.D., Linda Blatchford says a report is expected to be ready for presentation by the end of 2017.
Blatchford saysĀ the public can bring new ideas to the table.

The Cowichan Valley has two other curling facilities; they’re in Duncan and Kerry Park.
