Duncan restaurant to permanently close it’s doors this fall

According to a Facebook post, the York Street Diner, which has been operating since 2011, will close its doors at the end of October. 

The restaurant, located near the corner of York Road and Dingwall Street, is shutting down due to rising food costs, wages and the area they’re in. 

This comes as Kim Wah, another restaurant a block away from York St. Diner, shut down at the end of August.
