North Cowichan/ Duncan RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in Duncan.
Officers were called on March 24th to a gravel yard in the 3900 block of Cliffs Road, where a deceased woman was discovered.
Frontline officers, along with forensic investigators and Police Dog Services, are working to determine exactly what happened.
“The circumstances around her death remain suspicious as investigators continue to gather evidence,” said a statement from North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
The BC Coroners Service is also conducting a parallel investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
