Paving planned for Boys Road Thursday and Friday, traffic delays expected

Cowichan Valley commuters can expect delays on Boys Road this week as crews complete paving work.

The Municipality of North Cowichan said Duncan Paving crews will be milling and paving Boys Road between the Trans-Canada Highway and Mission Road on Thursday and Friday, weather permitting.

The work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with single-lane alternating traffic and traffic control personnel on site.

Drivers should expect reduced speed zones, minor delays and an increased presence of road crews and equipment in the area.

The municipality is asking drivers to follow posted signs and traffic control instructions while the work is underway.
