Major makeover for the Forest Discovery Centre

The goal of a new exhibit at the Forest Discovery Centre is to inject new life into the facility.
Manager of the Centre, Chris Gale says when the final tally is done, he figures they’ve hosted around 60,000 visitors this year and the new exhibit will boost that attendance even higher…..
Gale says they are well on their way to raising the one point 5 million dollars they need to make the project a reality thanks to donations from Timberwest, Western Forest Products and the Truck Loggers Association.
Karen Sorensen is heading up the design of the Forest Forever Exhition….
It’s hoped the tender for the work can go out at the end of this year so the exhibit will be ready to open next summer.
