Recreation Survey Will Guide C.V.R.D.’s Path

How do you feel about recreational opportunities in the Cowichan Valley?
That’s what the Cowichan Valley Regional District is trying to figure out through a survey that has been sent out to area residents.

John Elzinga is the General Manager of the Community Services Department and he says the survey asks residents what they think recreation should look like in the area.

The C.V.R.D. distributed these surveys to homes in the regional district and Elzinga says the survey identifies demographics as they pertain to the nine facilities in question.

There are four public focus groups coming to the area between November 6-9.
