The Cowichan Valley Regional District is inviting local businesses, organizations and residents to take part in Culture Days this fall.
For the third year, the regional district will organize an online marketing hub during the national festival, which runs from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4.
The festival celebrates arts, culture and heritage. Organizers are encouraging people to host activities ranging from gallery tours and workshops to storytelling events and nature walks.
“Local events doubled over the last two festivals, and we anticipate Culture Days will continue to grow,” said CVRD Chair Kate Segall. “Hosting an event invites the community to check out your business or organization and showcases how many incredible creative opportunities exist in our region.”
Registered events in the Cowichan region will be included on an interactive festival map and receive promotional support through the regional marketing hub.
