BC Transit is Offering free Service on Election day

You’ve heard the expression, ‘nothing in this world is free,’ well forget that.

The Cowichan Valley Regional District is partnering with BC Transit to offer voters free bus service on general election day.

The free fares are available on all regularly-scheduled local routes and handyDART, but these free rides aren’t offered on route 44 commuter buses between Duncan and Victoria.

If you are a non-registered voter, you need to bring two pieces of identification to the polling stations with you.

The polls are open throughout the Cowichan Valley between 8 am and 8 pm today.
