Tour de Rock 2025
Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock 2025 is an exciting annual event where police agencies and emergency service personnel cycle for 14 days on Vancouver Island, BC, raising money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society.
From the very first ride, Tour de Rock has grown on the strength of dedicated volunteers and community partners from Port Alice to Victoria. We are excited to continue our mission for 2025!! Tour de Rock remains determined to continue supporting children and families living with and beyond cancer. Your ongoing support is vital as we continue towards making life better today and transforming the future of cancer forever. Why? Because nothing big gets solved by one person or one organization. To take on cancer, it takes every one of us. It takes a society. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Cops for Cancer are used to fund life-saving pediatric cancer research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes. Donate today to help us pedal our way to support children with a cancer diagnosis. It takes a society to take on cancer.
This year, we have 6 local Cowichan Valley Tour de Rock riders.
Will Arnold – Community Rider ~ Duncan
Community is a big part of my life, and it is an honour to continue to help everyone in the Cowichan Valley who is in need of a helping hand. As I have spent a lot of time supporting adults on the highway corridor who struggle with homelessness and addiction, I have built relationships with our local emergency services and community. Our group of volunteers help clean up the highway corridor daily of garbage that is left behind in front of our businesses. It has been very humbling to have had the opportunity to support more than 8 vulnerable people get to rehab to beat their addictions and turn their lives around. However, now I know it is time to focus on the kids! Read more and donate… Tour de Rock 2025: Will Arnold – Canadian Cancer Society

Lisa Mitchell – Paramedic with BCEHS ~ Salt Spring Island
The Tour de Rock is a really long bicycle ride. We ride for fourteen days, over 1200km, tip to tip of Vancouver Island. But Tour de Rock is also something so much bigger and so much deeper than a bike ride. It’s creating a community around, and with, the children and families who have to navigate their worlds being turned on end. It’s a way to support the medical research that saves their lives, and to support social engagments which bring hope and love into their lives. Any dollars raised through this event help pediatric cancer research, and send soooo many kids each year to Camp Goodtimes—a local, medically supervised recreation experience for children and teens with cancer and their families. This is really such a unique and magnificent fundraiser that touches so many lives.I am so stoked to be a part of this epic undertaking this year.
