Work begins on Holt Creek Bridge this week

If you’re a Cowichan Valley Trail user this is your warning that the Holt Creek Bridge will be closed starting September 3rd. 

The province says you may notice Khowutzun Development crews starting pre-work this week. 

This first phase of development will require up to two weeks of work, and the trail from Glenora Trailheads Park to the bridge will be closed with no detours. 

They encourage you to check out other parts of the CVT while work is underway. 

The second development phase is slated to start this fall and will require a full trail closure.
