RCMP Across the Province Deployed to Areas Affected by Wildfires

RCMP from Vancouver Island have been deployed to the Caribou region to help with the wildfires.

Staff Sgt. Annie Linteau with BC RCMP Media Relations says members from all across the province have been deployed to the Interior to help relieve other officers.
She says the communities these officers are coming from are still fully prepared to run as normal.
Linteau says the numbers are changing regularly, but upwards of 300 officers from different communities across the province have been deployed to assist in the affected communities.
