The Vancouver Island Economic Alliance will be holding its 11th annual Summit in Nanaimo later this month.
George Hanson says delegates will hear the 3rd annual State of the Island Report, the only regional economic report published in B.C., but there’s much more going on…..
Also on the agenda, there will be a presentation about the film production industry on the Island and one on emergency preparedness.
There will also be more information released on the pilot project to increase awareness and demand for Island food products.
The event goes October 25th and 26th at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo.
