Maclean’s magazine is out with the most dangerous places in Canada and seven Vancouver Island communities are in the top 100.
North Cowichan is ranked 79 in the ‘all crime’ category, while Port Alberni ranks highest of any Vancouver Island community, coming in 22 on the list.
The usual suspects are leading the way in the category, as North Battleford, Saskatchewan and Thompson, Manitoba are ranked one and two.
