NDP deputy leader makes pre-campaign visit to Cowichan Valley

The NDP made the pitch for an Environmental Bill of Rights Sunday night in Duncan.

Deputy Leader and Environment Critic Megan Leslie was on hand as part of her tour of the country.

So was the party’s new candidate for the Cowichan Malahat Langford riding, Alistair MacGregor.

 

The NDP event wasn’t just about spreading the word on policy goals… the town hall style meeting was followed up by a fundraiser to help fill the party’s war chest ahead of this year’s election.
