New sidewalks, angled parking, landscaping and street benches are just a few of the upgrades in the works for downtown Crofton.
North Cowichan Director of Engineering and Operations says preliminary underground work has already started.
Construction is expected to take place mostly between 7:30 am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
