RCMP in Ladysmith are looking for a suspect after a number of break and enters.
The incidents have been happening in an area of waterfront homes from Lytton Road to Rocky Beach Road in the Saltair community since the beginning of June.
The suspect is described as a white man, 18 to 20 years old, about 6 feet tall, skinny with blonde shaggy hair and clean shaven.
He was last seen wearing shorts, a black bike helmet and he was carrying a black backpack.
Police say because the homes are waterfront, it could be that the thief has access to a boat.
Mounties say a lot of the homes that have been hit were seasonal and the owners were away.
